Windows XP: "Some updates were not installed"?

Im going crazy trying to install these. They always fail. I restarted and looked on microsoft.com and that was no help at all. I just need some step by step instructions on how to fix it.

don't bother most of those suck any away. for security use comodo fire wall, infact shut off the built in fire wall.

If they always fail, dont worry bout installing them, they'll send you crazy and you'll never get it to work.



Also, if you interested in a security program I recommend Ad-Aware. Its free and you can just download it then scan your computer for viruses %26amp; infections whenever you want. Then you can get it the program to remove the viruses/infections.

they should install automatically, check your internet connection, check your firewall settings, check your automatic update settings in the control pannel, make sure you have it set to automatic install, reboot and wait an hour, if you are not prompted to restart your computer I think you may have a security problem. scan your hd for virus/rootkits and prepare yourself for a complet reinstall, make sure you have your license key. good luck,



DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR FIREWALL UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ALERNATIVE IN PLACE!!
What is the problem? Install all of them except IE 7



Slows computer down huh?,



After installing shutdown, not restart.



Trouble is most people cant be bothered, thats why they ask questions here.
