I have an error called 'System Standby Failed'?

this is in the error message:

The service 'Microsoft .NET Framework v1.14322 Update' is preventing the machine from entering standby. Try stopping this service and try again.

I even tried to delete the folder in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework but the error still came up when I tried to standby. What do I do?

Go to www.microsoft.com and in the search bar type in the error and then click onto the appropiate link[s]
