You can't run an ASP 3.0 application as an ASP.NET application. That's what the error message is telling you. You need to run ASP 3.0 applications as ASP 3.0 applications.

In short, there is a problem withn your Web server configuration. Consult your ISP and ask if they support ASP 3.0. If so, tell them that's what you have and that's what you need to run.

If not, start looking around for hosts who do support ASP 3.0.

Do you sure you page extension is .asp?

This error message looks like the asp.net error message.

Whatever,

Are you using the windows server 2003?

There is a setting in IIS.

Open Internet Information Service in Administrative Tools.

Go to Web Service Extension allow Active Server Page and Prohibit the asp.net.

Hope this will help you
