Question about windows update?

Every day when I turn my computer on, it tells me that there are 2 updates ready to be installed. Whenever I install them, it then tells me that 2 updates could not be installed. Why does this keep happening? These are the updates that keep failing to install:

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (KB110806)

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 (KB929300)

Question about windows update?windows mobile

Hope this will help!

Re: Error installing .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1

You may try the following steps (from http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2...

Use the SubInAcl tool described at http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2... to make sure that the Administrators group and the SYSTEM account both have permissions to folders under %windir% and registry hives under HKLM

Run the cleanup tool described at http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2... to make sure any remnants of the .NET Framework 2.0 have been removed from the system

Try again to install the .NET Framework 2.0

If it doesn't solve your problem, please follow the instructions here:

What to do when you go to post a setup and deployment issue on the MSDN forums?

Try installing one at a time. Start with Framework 2.0, reboot, then if it installed successfully, install Framework 3.0 and reboot again.
