I want to install Visual Studio.Net, but an error shows:
"Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 has encountered a problem during setup. Setup did not complete correctly."
My windows is XP SP2, and Visual Studio.Net is 2005 Beta 2.

Before installation Make sure you have installed all the pre-requested installations like IIS and Front Page Extensions...

Beta 2 won't run. It's out of date.
Go to the MS website and d/l one of the express editions. They are free and will work.
