when attempting to install microsoft .net framework 1.1 service pack 1 it gives me internal error 2908 several times with different number and letter combinations below it
it then gives me error 1935 and installation is reversed, and then cancelled. How do I fix this?

.Net has already been installed once and some of the components are still on the system.
Here what you do:
Remove the Mscoree.dll from the windows\system32 directory. Then restart you computer. Then install .net framework again.
