I am using Windows XP SP2 SP3, Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 redistributable x86, Windows live messenger 8 with all recent updates and security softwares functioning well. Problem starts in middle of installation when it stops in between unreasonably. I had checked any identicle problem which may be stopping it, like deleting yahoo directory, network speed checks, any backgrounds programms, even i had tried to install from yahoo messenger 5-6 times form its main website, but everytime it stops while download during installation. I need an expert advise for this.

why did you uninstall yahoo in the first place and secondly you might have a firewall actively blocking the IM client and by the way if you have WM 8 them import your yahoo contacts so that you can atleast stay in touch
Lastly y dont you try an offline installation like one of the older versions of yahoo from an old issue of chip or digit or anything if you have already tried everything having the latest dosent mean you have the best.
