Microsoft.NET Framework v1.1.4322 Update is preventing my computer from entering standby or hibernat

The warning says to stop the process. How do I fix this? I have Windows XP on a Toshiba laptop.

Did you try running Windows Updates? There is a new update for the Microsoft.NET Framework, perhaps that will fix it. If not you can uninstall the Microsoft.NET Framework from Add/Remove Programs (make sure and check Show Updates at the top)
